The Wood Fund

In 1996, Dr. Francis Pepper established the ‘Wood Fund for Advancement of Neuroradiology at UNC. The fund was established to honor Dr. Ernest Wood, first Chair of Radiology at UNC and a pioneer neuroradiologist. Income from the fund is used to support pilot research projects and an Annual Memorial Lecture and Visiting Professorship. Past Wood lecturers include:
