2012 Summer Skills Series: Essential Skills for Success in Industry
Are you interested in a career in industry? This five-session workshop series will help you fill in your skill gaps and identify ways to improve your chances at landing a job and being productive in industry. Topics will include an overview of industry culture, a workshop on using your personality type to define your leadership style, advice on becoming an effective industry scientist, and a survey of career tracks for industry scientists. Participants who attend at least four sessions will receive a certificate of completion. The workshops will be held weekly beginning on June 21st.
