Thurston
Bowles Quad Bounded by Thurston Bowles, the Mary Ellen Jones Building,
the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Taylor Hall,
and the new Neurosciences Building, this beautiful courtyard
reflects the look of the future Medical Complex Campus.
Basic
Science Quad
This alley of Bradford Pear trees line the sidewalk that brings students
to Berryhill Hall. Also seen is the School of Nursing's Carrington Hall.
The
New Biomolecular Building Lecture Halls Tour one of the new lecture halls in the just-built
Biomolecular Building. First and second year medical students
as well as some graduate students will have lectures in
these technologically advanced classrooms.
Dissection
First year medical students will have the opportunity to learn more about
the human body through Gross Anatomy labs.
Old
Well
The Old Well is one of the University's most treasured pieces of history.
Also seen are historic Playmakers Theater and Old East and Old West,
the University's oldest dormitories.
Franklin
Street
Your social life outside of the medical school will most likely begin here!
Franklin Street is known for its great restaurants, quaint shops, and always
exciting nightlife.
Main
Campus Quad
Framed on either end by the Wilson Library and the historic South Building,
this main campus quad is the heart of campus. Most days you will find students
studying in the quad or just lounging around talking to friends.
