Ania Wellere is a second-year MPH (Master of Public Health) candidate with an Equity concentration at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. She is also earning a graduate certificate in Innovation for the Public Good. She is interested in health promotion and access and global health/international development.
Ania has had the opportunity to travel to several countries (e.g., Indonesia, England, and Ecuador) where she has engaged with underserved populations and offered recommendations to improve the health and well-being of these populations. Throughout her time at Gillings, she has become more interested in program evaluation and how it can be used to advance equity in all aspects of public health.
