What drew you to UNC?

I loved my time with the department as a medical student and really enjoyed all the people! Also, my family and I were fans of the Triangle area as well.

What do you love most about the Triangle?

There is so much to do across the three cities, all without the intense traffic of a larger metro area. We really love the park systems and museums in the area.

What are your career aspirations?

Still figuring that out! I’m open to fellowships and could see myself working as an academic anesthesiologist one day.

What is your go-to fun fact?

I am working on a bucket list goal of traveling to all 50 states with my kids!

If you weren’t an anesthesiologist, what would you be?

Probably would have gone with a career involving either public health research or English and writing.
