Erica Branham was awarded the Genetics & Molecular Biology T32 Training Grant (NIGMS)

Jarred Lobo publishes his article “Polygenic risk scoring to assess genetic overlap and protective factors influencing posttraumatic stress, depression, and chronic pain after motor vehicle collision trauma” in Translational Psychiatry (PMID: 34226500).

Erica Branham joined the lab as a PhD student in Genetics & Molecular Biology. 

Linnstaedt Lab members publish their article “microRNA let-7i-5p mediates the relationship between muscle fat infiltration and neck pain disability following motor vehicle collision: a preliminary study” in Scientific Reports (PMID: 33542428).

Dr. Lauren McKibben joined the Linnstaedt lab as our first postdoctoral fellow! Dr. McKibben earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she studied miRNA mechanisms underlying early life stress induced susceptibility and resilience in the lab of Dr. Yogesh Dwivedi.
