2020 UNC Commencement – Virtual watch party

Marking a milestone
While Commencement festivities on campus may have been postponed, the University is inviting the Carolina community to virtually celebrate the tremendous achievements of our nearly 7,000 graduating students.
Carolina will host a celebration video watch party on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday at 10 a.m. The stream will include special messages to the Class of 2020, highlights from their time at Carolina and performances by a cappella groups.
Instead of turning their tassels on May 10 in Kenan Stadium, the Class of 2020 will go to Carolina in their minds for graduation day as the campus remains closed to non-essential business in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Plans are in works to host the Class of 2020 back on campus for a ceremony.
