“Regulation of Cellular Quiescence”
ABSTRACT: Quiescence is defined as non-proliferative state of cells that the retain ability to re-enter the cell cycle. Entry into quiescence is mediated by phosphorylation-dependent protein complexes that include retinoblastoma family proteins. This presentation will review the mechanisms by which entry into quiescence can be disrupted in cancer.
