As the BCBP Postdoc Committee enters its second year, we’re celebrating a transfer in committee leadership.
Dr. Kathryn Gunn, the committee founder, is moving to a support role, while Dr. Ajit Prakash is taking over as the chair of the committee. We’re also excited to tell you that Dr. Renuka Ranjan has stepped up to be the new vice chair of the committee.
During its first year the Postdoc Committee has advocated for policies to benefit postdocs and helped implement a new annual evaluation requirement. We’re excited to see what the next year of the committee will bring!
The next committee meeting is our Postdoc Townhall held on Monday, July 31 at 1 pm in Genetic Medicine Conference room 3007 – and we hope to see all department postdocs and RAs there!
