Black In Microbiology Week is a vibrant weeklong celebration designed to showcase and connect Black microbiologists across all career stages and sub-disciplines. #BlackInMicro Week was created in 2020 to celebrate and amplify the voices of Black scientists pursuing careers in microbiology-related fields. This year, they are continuing this tradition with new and exciting programming!
You can now register to attend Black In Microbiology Week 2021. The event will take place September 27 – October 1, with virtual programming that highlights microbiology training and education, a research symposium, topics in community outreach, and microbiology careers.
