On July 10, 2024, the department of Biochemistry and Biophysics held their inaugural Staff Retreat at the Rizzo Center. Special thanks to Latasha Mingo, MBA, Director of Finance and Administration, for organizing. Latasha and our Chair Dr. Jean Cook spoke about our departmental history, mission, plans for growth, and goals. Staff worked in groups to make decisions and solve a desert survival challenge. Thanks to our fabulous student office worker, Layne Serdah for pulling together all our materials and personality test results in our notebooks and preparing our gift bags.
