Lineberger Awards ceremony will present awards to 4 of our trainees! In 2024, 4 out of 5 awardees are from our labs. These individuals will be recognized for their leadership of notable scientific publications on June 21, 2024.
Joseph S. Pagano Awardees
The Joseph S. Pagano Award recognizes notable cancer-related papers authored by UNC Lineberger postdoctoral fellows. Winners are selected through a competitive process and are honored for their authorship of articles in high-impact journals. The top three authors receive a cash prize of $3,000 and may give a featured talk at a future UNC Lineberger event.

Graduate Fellow Awards in Basic Science Awardees
The Graduate Fellow Awards in Basic Science is an annual competitive $3,000 award for outstanding graduate students in the research programs of cancer center members who have active, peer-reviewed grant support.
