Congratulations to Dr. Shobhan Gaddameedhi, postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Aziz Sancar’s lab, received $25,000 from the Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility 2013 Pilot Project Award.

UNC School of Public Health is pleased to announce awardees of the Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility Pilot project. 4 applications were chosen for funding, from the UNC-CH Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Genetics, Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics and Epidemiology.
Dr. Gaddameedhi’s project is titled “Circadian oscillation of XPA expression in human hair follicles and PBMCs“. He currently trains as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Aziz Sancar, Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry & Biophysics.
