July 2012 – Kay Lund, PhD, awarded a new, five-year R01 from the National Institute on Aging

July 2012 – Sarah Kenan Graham Professor Kay Lund received a new, five-year R01 grant totalling $1.5 million dollars from the National Institute on Aging. The grant will study the impact of aging, insulin and insulin-like growth factor signaling on intestinal stem cells and their ability to repair and regenerate the intestinal epithelium after radiation. Assistant Professor Scott Magness is co-investigator on this award.
