Developmental Research Program - UNC Chlamydia Vaccine Initiative

The UNC Chlamydia Vaccine Initiative STI Cooperative Research Center’s Developmental Research Program is available for post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty investigators interested in STD research. Funds from this award should be used towards generating preliminary data or a hypothesis that could be applied towards future competitive federal funding.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants for DRP awards are scientists (M.D., Ph.D., or other relevant doctoral-level degree) nearing completion of the postdoctoral fellowship period or in early faculty positions. Applicants will be drawn from early-career investigators interested in continuing STI research and located at any of the NIH U19-funded STI-CRC-affiliated institutions.

Application

Applications for the next award cycle will open in late fall 2022, with a tentative due date of spring 2023.
