Clinical Core

Principal Investigators: Harold Wiesenfeld, MD, and Sharon Hillier, PhD

The overall goals fo the Clinical Core are to identify and enroll women with, or at-risk for, bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and collect clinical specimens required by UNC CVI investigators. The Clinical Core is comprised of personnel and research and clinical facilities that focus on providing STI-focused care to young women.
