Description: This joint “Table Talks” or virtual roundtable discussion is brought to you by the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Wellness Committee of the UNC Department of Anesthesiology. The topic is Stigma and Mental Health. Participants are encouraged to review resources prior to the talks and plan to active participation. We will begin and end as one larger group; participants will participate in discussion in smaller virtual breakout rooms. Resources often include educational documentaries, ted talks, podcasts, or readings. Participation is open to all, even if resources aren’t reviewed prior to the discussion. Table Talks are held every other month throughout the year – anyone wanting to participate in future Table Talks can email Skye Margolies (Skye_Margolies@med.unc.edu).
