Lucy earned her BA degree in Biology from New York University and her MS degree in Forensic Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her background in molecular genetics includes unique experience in forensic DNA analysis, postmortem genetic testing in sudden death, as well as variant and gene curation for inherited diseases. She is excited to join UNC Biocuration Core as senior biocurator where she will support ClinGen working groups and expert panels in their assessment of the relationships between genes, variants, and clinical diagnoses. Lucy enjoys trying local eateries and spending time with family.
