Mell Battey graduated with a B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University with a concentration in History. He also received an MBA degree from Vanderbilt with a concentration in MIS.
He was a client-facing Consultant with IBM specializing in systems integration. He has health insurance experience with both Humana and Blue Cross NC.
He also held several positions as a Bookseller including running an online bookstore hosted on Amazon.
Outside of work, he enjoys continuing education through Audible audiobooks and Coursera classes. He also enjoys playing tennis.
