Sarthi Patil was awarded the Biostatistics Undergraduate Summer Internships (BUSI) Program End-of-Summer Research Symposium Best Poster Presentation Award for her poster entitled TWAS Training for Jackson Heart Study Cohort. Sarthi is working to train transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS) models using newly generated RNA-seq data from the Jackson Heart Study. Congratulations, Sarthi!

Jayna Nicholas presented the poster “Fibrinogen Associated Plasma Metabolites and Implications for Cardiovascular Disease Risk“ at the Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genomic Epidemiology (CHARGE) meeting in Philadelphia, PA April 28, 2022.
