Dr. McCoy is a Family Medicine physician and has served as the Central Iowa Clinically Integrated Network Medical Director, the Accountable Care Organization Medical Director for Catholic Health Initiatives, and as the Department Chair of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Iowa Medical Society and served on its Committee on Legislation, working to support legislation in the interest of public health and medicine. In addition, Dr. McCoy serves as the Mercy One Central Iowa Medical Group Quality chair where they have been awarded 2 separate grants working to improve HPV vaccination rates across Central Iowa Primary Care clinics.
