Dr. Angela Smith, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, Professor of Urology and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and distinguished alumna of the UNC School of Medicine, has been honored with the UNC Medical Alumni Affairs, Early Career Achievement Award for 2023.This award recognizes graduates who have made significant contributions to their field of medicine through their scientific, academic, or humanitarian endeavors within the first 15 years of their careers. Dr. Smith is the inaugural recipient of this award, making the recognition even more special.
