About
I am a physician-scientist specializing in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), bone marrow failure syndromes, lower risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and clonal hematopoiesis. I lead our MPN program, which was established in 2019 and provides clinical and research expertise for MPN patients. My research primarily focuses on mechanisms of thrombosis in MPN, with a goal to improve MPN care by individualizing thrombosis risk stratification and by finding better treatments to prevent thrombosis. I am also dedicated to training the next generation of physicians and am involved in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
