The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce a series of workshops on Demystifying Appointments, Promotions, and Tenure policies in the School of Medicine.
Dr. Joanne Jordan and representatives from the Fixed-term Promotion Committee, Associate Professor and Full Professor Tenure Track Promotion Committees, and Human Resources support staff for these committees will be available to answer your questions. In these 90 minute sessions we will:
1. Work through and simplify processes for fixed-term and tenure-track positions and promotions.
2. Share helpful hints as you prepare your dossier and advise you on the best ways to present your accomplishments.
3. Review common pitfalls.
WHO should attend: faculty of all ranks and administrative support staff involved in preparing dossiers for faculty promotions.
WHEN and WHERE: Find a time that is convenient for you. No need to register.
