- Mina Hosseinipour, MD, MPH, was awarded a five-year grant from NIH/NHLBI to enhance blood supply in Malawi and successfully re-competed her NIH D43 training program for Malawians.
- Jessica Lin, MD, and Jonathan Parr, MD, MPH, received an R21 entitled “Development of novel diagnostics for African non-falciparum malaria.”
- Ed Brown, PhD, was awarded an SBIR Phase II NIH contract for UNC’s HIV Cure Center and Cell Microsystems to further develop single-cell diagnostic assay.
