- Kenichi Okuda, MD, PhD will receive $140,000 over two years from the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institue (CFRI) for his project, “Pathways Maintaining Basal Mucin and CFTR-mediated Fluid Secretion in the Human Distal Airway.”
Division of Cardiology
- Tammy Long, AGNP, and Kirk Adams, MD were the recipients of a 2022 Top Research Site Award for UNC Health Care by the Heart Failure Collaboratory and the Heart Failure Society of America for outstanding performance on two clinical trials: PARAGLIDE-HF, and LY3461767 in Participants With Chronic Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction.
