Eastowne is on track to be completed in Fall, 2020. Planning teams are moving from design to an operational focus, excitedly working towards our vision of patient-centered design and care delivery.
Last month, each Eastowne clinic team participated in a “table top” exercise to model provider and clinical care partner staffing models. This will help to inform best use of the space and smoothing of clinic schedules to make sure that there is a more even distribution of appointments across the week. A smaller group within the Eastowne project team will initiate the relocation planning process for all six floors of the building. This relocation plan will determine the sequence of individual clinic relocations and activation of various building services and clinic re-openings.
Construction is progressing, and the last iron girder was placed on September 18, at the topping off ceremony. The building is now ready for floors to begin.
