Nigel Mackman, PhD, John Parker Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, has been selected by the American Heart Association and the Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) to receive the 2017 ATVB Distinguished Achievement Award.

Nigel Mackman, PhD, John Parker Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, has been selected by the Officers of the American Heart Association and the Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) to receive the 2017 ATVB Distinguished Achievement Award.

The ATVB Distinguished Achievement Award is presented to a Council member who has made major contributions to the affairs of a Scientific Council over a continuing period of time and substantial professional contributions to the field. The award will be presented at the AHA’s Scientific Sessions Annual Conference in Anaheim, California November 11-15, 2017.
