The UNC School of Medicine celebrated Match Day on Friday, March 20, welcoming the Class of 2020 virtually with leaders Wesley Burks, Cristy Page, Julie Byerley, and Beat Steiner. Listen to their celebratory message in this YouTube video.
Altogether, the UNC Department of Medicine matched 27 categorical, 10 preliminary, and 5 med-peds residents to the Internal Medicine Program. Two new trainees were also selected for the Physician-Scientist Program.
