Keisha Gibson, MD, MPH, and Jenny Flythe, MD, MPH, both served on KDIGO committees that produced the guidelines, which are also featured in the October issue of Supplements to Kidney International.
The new KDIGO guidelines are believed to be the most extensive in history, organized into eleven chapters, ten of which cover a specific primary or secondary glomerular disease or group of diseases.
