Chad Pecot, MD, associate professor of medicine in the division of oncology told Cure he is caring for patients by phone and making decisions with colleagues about chemotherapy treatment.
“Something that we would never do as an oncologist is to give chemo without seeing a patient,” he said in the Cure interview. “But that’s becoming the new norm now is to actually give treatment without examining patients and seeing them in person.”
