Giselle Corbie-Smith Will Deliver Berryhill Lecture as 41st President of Society of General Internal Medicine

The Society of General Internal Medicine elected Giselle Corbie-Smith, MD, as its 41st president last year. Officially inducted in April, Corbie-Smith says the appointment is giving her the opportunity to combine her 20 plus years of service to the organization with her work as a health equity researcher. She will also deliver the 34th Annual Norma Berryhill Distinguished Lecture on Thursday, October 18.
