Rendering of the UNC Medical Office Building at Panther Creek

The UNC Panther Creek Medical Office Building (MOB) is on schedule to open for patient care on 1/21/20. Faculty physicians from the department of medicine will be welcoming patients in a new collaborative care model, made up of specialists from internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology and nephrology.

Claire West, MD, associate professor in the division of general internal medicine, and medical director of the UNC Medicine Clinic at Panther Creek, says the clinic will represent a transformative, more integrated model of healthcare delivery, without operational silos that can prevent successful reform.

“Panther Creek will introduce a deliberate reorganization of primary and subspecialty care, and workflows to improve efficiencies. The medical office building will also house a variety of UNC Health Care entities in what we hope will be an example of the new ONE UNC Health vision.”
