The School of Medicine is excited to welcome Claire Larson, MD, to the role of Director of Electives, coordinating elective offerings across all phases including the scholarly concentrations. Dr. Larson earned her medical degree from the UNC School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine and Geriatrics training at the University of California, San Francisco. From clinical practice at Kaiser Permanente, she joined the UNC faculty in 2018 in the Division of Geriatric Medicine. Larson is a member of the Academy of Educators, she already leads multiple individual electives, and already directs one Scholarly Concentration, giving her outstanding experience to take on this role.
