Ayush graduated from UNC with a degree in Quantitative Biology. As a medical student, he has continued his interest in medical analytics and advanced data and deep learning tools. He has worked as a data scientist for advanced medical analytics to identify ways in which using machine learning may improve upon health outcomes. Some of his research as a medical student has focused upon identifying ways in which the SES of a region might impact the neighboring regions’ outcomes using special statistics. He has also served on his student council and been committed to working as a mentor and tutor to more junior medical students. Ayush will be completing his advanced residency program in Radiology after his preliminary year in Internal Medicine. In his spare time, Ayush enjoys sewing and quilting.
