About

Kelly is from North Carolina originally and graduated from NCSU with a degree in Biology. Afterword, she obtained a Master of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and worked at Wake Forest University as a Lab Tech. As a medical student, Kelly has been actively engaged in research and will graduate with a certificate in Research and Translational Medicine. She has also been dedicated to mentoring college students, working with the student clinic, and serving as a peer educator for more junior students. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance as well as her commitment to peers and patients, Kelly was inducted into both the AOA and Gold Humanism Honor Societies and serves as co-president for her AOA chapter.
