Madison attended Texas A&M where she graduated with a degree in petroleum engineering. After college, she began work as a Quality Assurance Lead with a Home Health care agency – work she continued to do even as a medical student. She has been actively involved in volunteer and service work, frequently seeing patients in the student clinic, and babysitting for a Foster Parents Night Out monthly. She has been actively involved in multiple research projects, including a project focused on assessing the effects of Step 1 moving to Pass/Fail on overall student health. She will graduate with a Medical Humanities and Ethics Certificate and in recognition of her outstanding academic performance was inducted into the AOA Honor Society. In her spare time, Madison is a true crime enthusiast and enjoys crime and mystery podcasts.
