About

Parth is from North Carolina, growing up outside of Charlotte, and attended UNC for college where he majored in Biology and Chemistry. After college, Parth worked as a Medical Assistant for a primary care physician group in South Carolina. As a medical student, Parth has dedicated himself to mentoring and service. He partnered with local elementary and middle schools in rural and underprivileged areas to create a curriculum to expose underrepresented children to a career in medicine– serving as a branch director for all the associated programs in the county. In recognition of his work, he was asked to advise the creation of a similar program at WFU as well as the University of Michigan. He has served as treasurer for his school’s chapter of the SNMA and worked as a peer tutor and mentor for more junior medical students. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, Parth was inducted into the AOA Honor Society. He is couples matching with Heerali who will be completing her residency in Family Medicine.
