Cavallari, Pharm.D., BCPS, FCCP (University of Florida) and Joseph S. Rossi, M.D., MSCI, FACC, FSCA & George “Rick” A. Stouffer, III, M.D. (UNC Co-Investigators), for the receipt of R01 grant from NIH’s NHLBI.

NIH National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute

 

Their grant, titled “Precision Antiplatelet Therapy After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention” to create a multi-center patient registry and study the clinical and genetic factors that influence patient outcomes after a stent procedure. With this funding, they will establish strategies that individualize antiplatelet therapy prescribing and improve patient outcomes.
