Ke Huang, M.D., Ph.D.

Research Assistant Professor, Regenerative Medicine, North Carolina State University

Dr. Huang is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences at NC State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. My research encompasses developing advanced biotherapeutics and small molecules for regenerative medicine, particularly targeting myocardial infarction and cardiomyopathy through minimally invasive techniques. My work has been published in top journals including Science Translational Medicine, Circulation Research, Nature Communications, and ACS Nano, showcasing breakthroughs like engineered biotherapeutics and smart delivery systems for heart repair. My commitment to excellence is further highlighted by awards such as the NIH PCTC Outstanding Early Career Investigator Award, American Heart Association Career Development Award, Fellow of American Heart Association, and multiple honors at scientific symposiums.
