MHI SEMINAR SERIES: Karen Hirschi, Ph.D., Professor, Cell Biology, Director, UVA Developmental Genomics Center, University of Virginia

1131 Bioinformatics Building 130 Mason Farm Rd., Chapel Hill, NC, United States

Research Interest: Our laboratory is specifically interested in the regulation of endothelial cell commitment, differentiation and cell cycle progression, and defining signaling pathways that modulate these processes. We also aim to understand how some endothelial cells acquire specialized functions, such as the generation and/or maintenance of multi-lineage stem/progenitor cells.
