Dr. Qian-Zhou Jojo Yang and Dr. Kiran McCloskey were recently awarded the Promoting Clinical Research in Southeastern NC award from the Research Advisory Council (RAC). Their project, Understanding pediatric epilepsy surgery disparities within the state of North Carolina, will be funded for the next year.
UNC Neurology celebrated graduation this Spring with two UNC system medical students, Dr. Maria Melendez and Dr. Aiden Walker. Both Drs. The UNC Epilepsy Center has received reaccreditation as a Level IV Epilepsy Center from the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC).
