UNC Neurology is please to announce the promotion of Dr. Steven Trau from Clinical Assistant Profess to Clinical Associate Professor based on excellence in clinical activity. Dr. Trau is a member of the Child Neurology Division. His work focuses on treating patients with Tourette syndrome and other tic disorders.
Dr. Trau earned his doctorate in medicine from Emory University, School of Medicine in 2012 and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2015. He went on to complete a secondary residency in Child Neurology at Duke University in 2019. After completing his residency at Duke, Dr. Trau joined UNC Neurology in June 2019.
