Dr. Rebekah Nash is an Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department at UNC Chapel Hill. She investigates risk factors, protective factors, and underlying genetic mechanisms of psychiatric disorders and cognitive function in patients with severe medical illness, including following solid organ transplant. Her clinical work is on the inpatient consultation liaison (CL) psychiatry service and outpatient CL psychiatry clinic, with a specific emphasis within transplant psychiatry.
