My lab studies the structural basis of receptor tyrosine kinase activation, with an initial focus on TAM receptors. Specifically, we are interested in understanding the role membrane lipids play in TAM receptor activation and how receptor oligomerization modulates the various signaling pathways in which TAM receptors participate. Our lab has a primary expertise in X-ray crystallography and various biophysical and biochemical techniques, with expanding experience in cryo-EM and structure-based drug design.
