As a researcher and genetic counselor, I have a broad background in genomic medicine and genetic counseling with a continual focus on improving clinical access, and broad integration of genomic medicine applications for all populations. This has included mixed-methods research to understand perspectives regarding facilitators and barriers to clinical adoption as well as contributing to policy and standards development to guide laboratory and clinical practices.
My primary area of interest centers around facilitating hereditary cancer genetics.
