Dr. Wu is an Associate Professor of Radiology and the Biomedical Research Imaging Center and the Director of the Radiochemistry Core at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Wu’s research has focused on building novel radiolabeling platform for multimodality molecular imaging probe construction, and developing new imaging and therapeutic agents by targeting various molecular markers related to cancer, diabetes, and other diseases. She has extensive experience in the construction of theranostics (therapeutic and diagnostic) agents and radiolabeling with 18F, 11C, 64/67Cu, 89Zr, 177Lu, 123/131/124I, and 111In. She also played a major role in the development of a novel photoredox radiofluorination method.
