Jude Samulski published “Adeno-Associated Virus Serotype-Specific Inverted Terminal Repeat Sequence Role in Vector Transgene Expression” in the February 14, 2020 issue of Human Gene Therapy. Their article made the cover of this prestigious international journal.

Kittner Family Distinguished Professor & Chair of UNC Ophthalmology Donald L. Budenz, M.D., M.P.H., has been named President of the American Glaucoma Society for 2020. The mission of the organization is to maintain and improve the quality of patient care primarily through improvement, exchange and dissemination of information and scientific knowledge pertinent to glaucoma and related diseases.
