Dr. Lewis has been a faculty member in Pediatrics since 2019. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Lewis is the medical director of the Children’s Short Stay Unit. She also has medical director experience overseeing the prior inpatient pediatrics team at Rex Hospitals.
Dr. Lewis received a BS in Biology from UNC – Chapel Hill and her medical degree from the UNC – Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Subsequently, Dr. Lewis was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine and served as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
