The Calabrese lab at UNC

The lab in May 2023

The Calabrese lab studies how long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) regulate gene expression. We are particularly interested in understanding the relationships between sequence, structure, and function in lncRNAs, as well as the mechanisms that lncRNAs employ to control molecular events inside of the nucleus.

Motivated individuals interested in joining the lab are encouraged to email Dr. Calabrese their CV, a brief statement of interest, and the names of 3 references who can speak on their behalf.
